GoodKnight Consulting ("we," "us") is a US-based executive advisory firm. This policy explains what information we collect through goodknightconsulting.com and our events, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and our services are designed for business professionals.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We use trusted third-party processors to run the business. They may store or process your information on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:
We may also disclose information if required by law or in connection with a business transfer (like a merger or sale), in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and standard analytics (e.g., understanding which pages are visited). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, most of the site will still work.
Three tools are involved. PostHog is our main analytics provider. It records pages visited, clicks, browser and device type, approximate (city-level) location, and how you found us. Visits are anonymous until you give us your email through a form, quiz, or resource download; from that point the analytics record is associated with you, so we can see what you were looking for before you got in touch. PostHog also replays how visits move through the site, meaning scrolling, mouse movement and clicks, so we can find the places where the site is confusing. Everything you type is hidden before it leaves your browser: form fields, quiz answers and keystrokes are never recorded, and we never see them. HubSpot sets a cookie that works the same way: if you have given us your email through one of our forms, we can see which of our pages you have read, so we can follow up with something relevant instead of something generic. If you never submit a form, that activity is not linked to a name. Cloudflare measures aggregate traffic, such as how many people visited a page and where they arrived from. It does not use cookies and does not identify you. To have your analytics record deleted, email us using the address below.
Our emails also include standard open and click tracking, so we can tell which resources are worth sending. Most email apps let you block remote images, which turns off open tracking on your end.
If you join our list, register for an event, or download a resource, we may email you our newsletter and related offers.
We keep contact information for as long as we have an active relationship with you or you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. If you unsubscribe, we keep the minimum needed to honor your opt-out. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information. For California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) provides the right to:
Residents of other states with similar privacy laws may have comparable rights. To exercise any of them, email logan@goodknightconsulting.com. We'll verify your request (usually by confirming control of the email address on file) and respond within the timeframe required by law, generally 45 days.
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we limit access to those who need it to serve you.
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email.
